Kuala Lumpur, May 3 (IANS) Top seed P.V. Sindhu of India stormed into the Malaysia Open Grand Prix Gold final defeating Thailand’s Sapsiree Taerattanachai at the Juara Indoor Stadium here Friday.
Sindhu got the better of third seed 21-17, 21-11 in the semifinal lasting 34 minutes. With the win, the Indian improved her career record against her Thai opponent to 2-1.
She faces Gu Juan in the title clash. It is the second time Sindhu has reached a Grand Prix final after making it in Lucknow last year.
