Lahore, May 2 (IANS) Pakistan Thursday ordered a judicial inquiry into the the death of Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh.
Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Najam Sethi ordered the probe, Geo News reported.
Sethi directed that all factors that led to the death of the Indian prisoner be examined.
Sarabjit Singh, who was on death row, died early Thursday in Lahore’s Jinnah hospital where he was admitted April 26 after he was brutally assaulted in the Kot Lakhpat jail.
