Dharamsala: Sachin Tendular fans were a delighted lot as they got to see him bowling, fielding and batting at a practice session here today.
“Sachin has recovered from the injury and is now fit to play tomorrows match said Anil Kumble at a press conference held after the practice session of Mumbai Indians at the HPCA Stadium.
He said, “Mumbai Indians play to retain the No 1 position at the end of the league matches but we are not taking Kings lightly.”
Kumble said “Rohit is doing his leading job very efficiently. He is smart, very cool and young.”
He added “Ponting is very important player for us and even if he sits on the bench, players gain by learning from the depth of his knowledge on cricket.
Kumble said the pace wicket of Dharamsala is helping the pacers and the team will keep that in mind.
He said Himachali lad Rishi Dhawan has lot of talent and is in the list of probable’s for tomorrow match. “We will be happy if he plays tomorrow on home ground,” said Kumble.
