Mumbai, May 16 (IANS) After a two-year gap, Shruti Haasan returns to Hindi movies with “Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya” and clarifies that the Prabhudheva directorial venture can’t be tagged as her comeback movie.
“Actually I don’t believe in the concept (of coming back in Bollywood). Once you have debuted in films, you are here for life, hopefully. But having said that, this (‘Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya’) was an absolutely brilliant opportunity,” Shruti told reporters here Wednesday at the music launch of the film.
“I enjoyed playing the character. It was an enjoyable experience and I hope the audience enjoy the films as much as we enjoyed making it,” added the 27-year-old.
“Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya”, a love story, also features Girish Kumar, Sonu Sood, Vinod Khanna, Randhir Kapoor and Poonam Dhillon.
