Islamabad, May 13 (IANS) The Election Commission of Pakistan summoned a meeting Monday to review complaints of rigging in last week’s polls, a media report said.
Pakistan went to polls Saturday for the National Assembly and provincial assemblies. Monday saw protests in parts of the country by losing candidates who alleged polls were rigged.
The poll panel will review the rigging allegations received from various areas of the country, reported Geo News, citing sources.
The panel will withhold the notification of those successful candidates who fail to produce the details of their election expenses.
