Sheffield, May 1 (IANS) Defending champion Ronnie O’Sullivan took a dominant 7-1 lead over Stuart Bingham in the quarterfinals of the World Snooker Championship here.
O’Sullivan proved far too strong Tuesday for Bingham — a player who has won three titles and reached two other ranking finals this season, reports Xinhua.
The 37-year-old O’Sullivan needs six more frames Wednesday for a place in the semifinals against Shaun Murphy or Judd Trump.
