Mumbai, May 24 (IANS) “100 Ek Shunya Shunya”, a new crime show, is in line to show the real investigations on the small screen. It will take the audiences into the world of police – control rooms, lock-ups, etc.
Scheduled to start in the second week of June, to be aired on the weekends on Life OK, the show aims to bridge the gap between the common man and the police department.
The content of the show will not be reconstructed and it will feature real people and their stories. The show will also highlight the challenges faced by the police while investigating a case, said a statement from the channel.
The show will be shot live, showcasing the daily working, challenges and investigations of the police force in different cities of India. It will also sensitize the audience on the roles and responsibilities of police.
The show starts from Delhi.
A senior official of Delhi police confirmed the news and told IANS that “they are coming up with the show”.
“We are facilitating the TV show makers and their cameramen are shooting the crime investigation parts, but we are not providing any infrastructure.”
“They (the TV makers) have told us that they will make about 13 episodes and they are recording the investigations of Delhi Police on several cases since past 15 days. They have assured us that after taking the footage of several cases, they will show it to the officials and only after getting approval from Delhi Police what to show and what not to show, they will beam it on TV,” added the official.
