Ankara, May 13 (IANS) Nine Turks have been arrested over Saturday’s deadly bombings in a town near the border with Syria, Turkish deputy prime minister Besir Atalay said Sunday.
The twin car bombings killed as many as 46 people and injured over 100 in Reyhanli town, where thousands of Syrian refugees have taken shelter, Xinhua reported.
Turkish interior minister Muammer Guler said one of the nine suspects was the mastermind of the attack.
Those involved were thought to have staged another attack on the Syrian coastal town of Banias a week ago, in which at least 62 people were killed, said foreign minister Ahmet Davutoglu.
