Los Angeles, May 24 (IANS) Actress and designer Nicole Richie, who has seen and worn it all, doesn’t like to waste money on clothes.
“I’ve gone through every phase – a “Punky Brewster” phase, where I wore a red sock and a green sock with a black shoe and a white shoe, and a grunge Nirvana phase in the early 1990s,” usmagazine.com quoted the 31-year-old as saying.
After experimenting a lot, she now buys clothes that have a longer shelf life.
“I personally tend to go with clothing I can wear season after season and get a lot of wear out of as opposed to something that’s trendy that I have to throw out later on. I feel like it’s a waste,” she said.
