Los Angeles, May 26 (IANS) Actress Michelle Keegan says she is in no hurry to be a mother, especially after playing a surrogate mother on Britain television soap “Coronation Street”.
The 25-year-old wore prosthetics in the show while playing the character of five-month-pregnant Tina McIntyre. In the soap, she gives birth to twin sons.
“I love babies, but working with a newborn has changed my outlook. I’m now thinking I’m not ready yet – give me a few more years,” thesun.co.uk quoted Keegan as saying.
Keegan, who is dating actor Mark Wright, played a prank by sending pictures of her fake baby bump to family.
“It freaked my family out. I remember sending my dad a picture of me in the mirror holding my belly – and saying ‘Dad, I’ve got something to tell you’… He texted back, saying ‘Don’t be so stupid’,” she said.
“I did not send a picture to Mark,” she added.
