New Delhi: Delhi High Court judges and advocates today bid adieu to Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul who has been elevated as the Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court.
Justice Kaul, 55, will be elevated to Punjab and Haryana High Court after serving here as a judge for over a decade.
Chief Justice of Delhi High Court D. Murugesan, who is retiring tomorrow, said during a full court reference organised to bid farewell to Justice Kaul that “in the course of his judicial career so far, Justice Kaul has delivered several landmark judgments and decisions in many areas of our substantial and procedural law…”
He added: “Through his industry, patience, his sound knowledge of law and fairness in conduct of cases, the trust that people repose in our judicial system has been greatly enhanced.”
Justice Kaul had become a permanent judge of the Delhi High Court May 2, 2003.
