Los Angeles, May 22 (IANS) Actress Jessica Alba has been honoured in recognition of her philanthropic efforts towards children-related issues.
The 32-year-old was handed the Champion for Children Award by Philip J. Landrigan, the director of Mount Sinai Children’s Environmental Health Center in Connecticut Monday, reports contactmusic.com.
Alba was given the honour for helping in advancing the centre’s mission through her work, which includes her eco-friendly baby product line- Honest and her book, The Honest Life.
