Gurgaon: A Japanese national working as a senior executive at Maruti Suzuki’s ancillary company died after jumping from a multi-storey building here today in the posh Sushant Lok area, police said.
Y. Fujii, 54, jumped from the 15th floor of Summit Apartments at Sector 54 here. He had been living there for a few years. He died on the spot, a police officer said.
He was working as general manager (sales) in a company in Sector 14 that manufactures spare parts for Maruti Suzuki India limited (MSIL).
“We have recovered a suicide note from the deceased’s apartment. The two line note in Japanese says, ‘I am dying, no one is responsible’,” Sushant Lok police station chief Kuldeep told.
“He was living alone in the flat and was depressed. His body has been kept in the mortuary and his family has been informed,” Kuldeep said.
