New Delhi, May 8 (IANS) Indian men’s hockey scored twice in each half to defeat the Netherlands 4-2 at Rotterdam Wednesday.
India opened its account with a field goal by Chinglensana in the 10th minute. Manpreet Singh scored another goal in the 20th minute.
In the second half, India scored two more goals through S.V. Sunil (52nd min) and Nithin Thimmaiah (66th min).
The tour is a part of preparations for the FIH Men’s Hockey World League Round-3 (semi-final) to be played at Rotterdam June 13-23.
