New Delhi, May 4 (IANS) It was a hot, sunny Saturday in the capital as the maximum temperature settled three notches above average at 42 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast similar weather Sunday.
“The skies will be sunny tomorrow (Saturday) and the afternoon will be similarly hot,” said the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 41 and 21 degrees Celsius, added the official.
Saturday morning was pleasant as the minimum temperature settled five notches below average at 19.8 degrees. The days’ maximum humidity settled at 73 percent.
Friday’s maximum temperature was 38.3 degrees Celsius, one notch below average, while the minimum temperature settled five notches below average at 20.3 degrees Celsius.
