New Delhi, May 26 (IANS) It was a hot morning in the capital Sunday with the minimum temperature settling at 29.3 degrees Celsius, two notches above average for this time of year. The weather office has forecast a clear and hot day ahead.
“A clear and hot day is in store for Delhi. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 43 degrees Celsius,” an official at the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) told IANS.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 36 percent.
Saturday’s maximum temperature was 43.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above average, while the minimum shot up to 30.5 degrees Celsius, four notches above average.
