New Delhi, May 5 (IANS) Delhi experienced a hot Sunday with the maximum temperature being recorded three notches above average at 41.6 degrees Celsius, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The sky remained partly cloudy, but it brought no relief from the heat.
The minimum temperature early Sunday was a notch below average at 24.3 degrees Celsius.
Similar weather is expected Monday, with the maximum temperature likely to be around 41 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature is expected to be around 24 degrees Celsius.
The sky will be partly cloudy Monday morning, becoming clear later, the IMD official said.
