New Delhi, May 28 (IANS) It was a hot morning in the capital Tuesday with the minimum temperature settling at 29 degrees Celsius, two notches above average for this time of the year. The weather office has forecast a clear day ahead.
“A clear day is in store for Delhi. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 44 degrees Celsius,” an official at the India Meteorological Department (IMD) told IANS.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 52 percent.
Monday’s maximum temperature was 42.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above average, while the minimum settled at 30.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above average.
Parts of the city received light showers Monday morning, recording 0.4 mm of rainfall.
