New Delhi, May 6 (IANS) It was a hot day for Delhi residents Monday with the maximum temperature settling at 41.4 degrees, a notch above average for this time of the season. The met office has forecast similar weather Tuesday.
The minimum temperature was two notches above average at 26 degrees Celsius, while the humidity wavered between a high of 63 and low of 26 percent.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Tuesday will see similar weather conditions and the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover between 41 and 25 degrees, respectively.
Sunday’s maximum temperature settled three notches above average at 41.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled a notch below average at 24.3 degrees Celsius.
