New Delhi, May 3 (IANS) A hot day lies ahead for Delhi Friday with maximum temperature likely to reach 38 degrees Celsius, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
There was some relief for Delhites as the night remained cool, with minimum temperature early Friday being recorded five notches below average at 20.3 degrees Celsius.
Maximum temperature Thursday was recorded two notches below average at 36.5 degrees Celsius.
