Kolkata, May 23 (IANS) State run Hindustan Copper Ltd Thursday announced a 36.86 percent jump in its net profit to Rs.188.09 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2013 as compared to Rs. 137.43 crore for the same period last year.
Total income of the Kolkata-headquartered firm, however, decreased from Rs.622.89 crore for the fourth quarter of 2011-12 to Rs.550.45 crore for the same quarter of 2012-13, it said in a filing to the BSE.
For the full fiscal 2012-13, the company posted a net profit of Rs.355.64 crore, as compared to Rs.323.47 crore for 2011-12.
