Jaipur, May 3 (IANS) Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot laid the foundation stone for JCB India’s fourth construction equipment manufacturing plant at here Friday.
Also present were the group’s CEO Alan Blake and managing director Vipin Sondhi.
With an investment of Rs.500 crore, JCB India will set up the facility on a 115-acre site.
Gehlot said: “This development will contribute towards strengthening the manufacturing base of the state.”
“India is a very important market for JCB and our investment in Jaipur is a vital step to strengthen our position in this growing market,” Blake said.
