Thiruvananthapuram, May 2 (IANS) Technopark-based Flytxt, a provider of big data analytics powered revenue and customer experience management solutions for Cellular Service Providers (CSPs), Thursday said it has been named as a “Cool Vendor” by technology research and advisory Gartner.
According to Gartner, “Cool Vendors” are those vendors which have captured its interest during the past year because they offer innovative or intriguing technologies or solutions.
In its report “Cool Vendors in Emerging Markets, 2013”, Gartner highlights vendors that have an impact on emerging markets and provides insight necessary for clients to make the right decisions.
Chief executive Vinod Vasudevan said Flytxt was pleased to be recognized by Gartner for their unique focus on generating more than 10 percent economic value from operator data by leveraging big data analytics as well as for their proven and highly adopted revenue sharing model in emerging telecom markets.
Flytxt has already deployed their platforms in many leading and progressive mobile operators in Asia and Africa, serving more than 400 million subscribers and has generated more than $250 million as incremental revenue for operators till now.
