Gurgaon: To curb illegal construction in the restricted area within 900 metres of the ammunition depot here, the district administration Wednesday decided to erect pillars outside the boundary line, an official spokesperson said.
Authorities of the district administration and the Indian Air Force (IAF) had a meeting at Air Force Station on Old Delhi Road and chalked out a common strategy to curb illegal constructions in restricted areas near the ammunition depot. Deputy Commissioner P.C. Meena presided over the meeting.
Meena assured IAF authorities that “pillars will be erected to discourage illegal construction” near the ammunition depot.
