New Delhi, May 11 (IANS) It was a cloudy morning in the capital Saturday with the minimum temperature settling at 24.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below the average for this time of year. The Met Office has forecast a partly cloudy day ahead.
“The skies will remain partly cloudy and the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 40 degrees Celsius,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 43 percent.
Friday’s maximum temperature was 40.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above average, while the minimum was 25.2 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year.
