Rio de Janeiro, May 19 (IANS) Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen has reportedly made a bid to sign highly rated Brazilian playmaker Romarinho.
The German outfit has offered Corinthians 12 million euros to secure the 22-year-old in the European summer transfer window, reports Xinhua.
Romarinho emerged on Brazil’s football scene last year as a striker but has been transformed into an attacking midfielder by Corinthians coach Tite this season.
“We want to have a settled squad and it’s important that the young players that are here continue to develop,” Tite said.
