Mumbai, May 18 (IANS) Pakistani actress Veena Malik, who was linked to actor Ashmit Patel post their “Bigg Boss 4” stint, says he was never her friend and that she only believes in maintaining friendship with her career.
During “Bigg Boss 4”, the two seemed to have bonded well, and were also seen together at various events post the show. But both Veena and Ashmit never gave a clear picture about their relationship.
The two are also working together in the film “Supermodel”.
“Ashmit was never my friend. We met in ‘Bigg Boss’ (season 4 in 2010) and after that we have not met. I am just working. I have friendship only with my career,” Veena said here Friday in an interview.
“I have no connection with anyone whom I met in ‘Bigg Boss’. They don’t even exist in my life,” she added.
The actress, who is currently busy with her Bollywood films and some Kannada and Telugu projects, says she has an “amazing” connect with people in India.
“It’s a very amazing country. The connect I have with the people here is amazing,” said Veena, who was recently seen in item numbers in the films “Gali Gali Mein Chor Hai” and “Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya”.
Her next film, “Zindagi 50-50” is scheduled for a May 24 release. It will see Malik in the role of a sex worker. The movie also features Rajan Verma, Rajpal Yadav and Riya Sen.
