Nagpur, May 27 (IANS) An Air India flight between Vishakhapatnam-New Delhi made an emergency landing here following a technical snag. There were no casualities, officials said.
Flight AI-452, with around 150 passengers on board, was diverted to Nagpur after the aircraft’s commander reported a snag after take off from Vishakhapatnam.
It was cleared for an emergency landing at the Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport here around 11 a.m.
A couple of hours later, a relief flight was arranged for the stranded passengers by Air India, which left for its destination at 3.30 p.m.
The engineering snag detected aboard the grounded aircraft is being rectified and there were no casualties of any kind, the officials said.
