Chennai, May 20 (IANS) Vadivelu, one of Tamil cinema’s most popular comedians, began shooting for his upcoming Tamil period-comedy “Gaja Buja Buja Gaja Tenali Ramanum Krishnadevarayarum” here Monday after a two-year hiatus.
Vadivelu took a forced sabbatical after entering into politics during the 2011 assembly elections.
“It is wonderful to have him back and I’m really looking forward to work with him. We begun shooting today (Monday) at a studio here. I’m sure the audiences are eagerly waiting to watch him on the big screen soon,” the film’s director Yuvaraj told IANS.
