New Delhi, April 25 (IANS) An 18-year-old youth was stabbed to death in Delhi by a person of his locality for reasons of personal enmity, police said Thursday.
“Aftab, a welder, was found in a pool of blood at Gokal Puri area in east Delhi late Wednesday night. A passerby spotted his body and informed the police,” said a police officer.
He was a resident of Sanjay Colony in east Delhi. Aftab had enmity with a person of the same locality who allegedly murdered him, the police officer said.
Aftab was taken to Guru Teg Badadur Hospital but was declared dead on arrival. He received stab injuries in his abdomen and hand, police said.
The police have stepped up efforts to nab the assailant but have not made his identity public.
