New Delhi, April 12 (IANS) A 20-year-old youth has been arrested here for stabbing his girl friend earlier this week. The girl survived the attack and gave a statement against the accused, police said Friday.
The incident was reported from west Delhi’s Chhawla area between 6-7 p.m. April 9.
The accused, identified as Sooraj, a resident of Delhi’s Najafgarh, was arrested from his hideout.
“The girl was rushed to hospital where her condition is stated to be stable,” a police officer said.
The girl had come to meet Sooraj near the BSF camp in Chhawla where he repeatedly stabbed her after an argument over some issue.
Both work in a private firm in Gurgaon, Haryana.
