New Delhi, April 29 (IANS) The week began on a sunny, warm note for the national capital Monday and the Met office has forecast that the day would be hot, even as the skies are partly cloudy.
The minimum temperature was recorded at degrees 24.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above average.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the skies will be partly cloudy through the day and the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 38 degrees Celsius.
Sunday was warm and sunny as well.
The maximum temperature settled a notch below average at 37.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 24.5 degrees, average for this time of year.
