UAE, Italy hold talks

Abu Dhabi, April 12 (IANS/WAM) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Italy have discussed academic cooperation and student exchange programmes between them.

The talks were held Thursday between UAE’s minister for culture, youth and community development Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Umberto Vattani, president of the Venice International University and former undersecretary of the Italian foreign ministry.

Vattani during the meet proposed to organise an exhibition in UAE cities for inventions of Leonardo Da Vinci, the Italian Renaissance polymath: painter, sculptor, architect, musician, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist, and writer.
