Beijing, April 1 (IANS) Two men were Monday sentenced to death by a court in Chinese metropolis Shanghai for trafficking more than 30 kg of drugs.
Liang Guoyong and Shi Runqiang were found guilty of trafficking and selling methamphetamine and ketamine, respectively, between April-May 2012, Xinhua reported.
Police found evidence that Liang supplied Shi with over 20 kg of methamphetamine and five kg of ketamine for shipment from Shenzhen to Shanghai on four separate occasions.
Police captured Liang at his apartment in Shenzhen with over six kg of methamphetamine while Shi was arrested in Shanghai, according to a court statement.
