Gurgaon, April 9 (IANS) Three people were killed and eight others injured Tuesday in Haryana when a bus collided with a stationary truck on Delhi-Jaipur National Highway, police said.
The victims were in a bus travelling from Rajasthan’s Bhilwara to Haridwar in Uttarakhand when the accident took place early morning near Rathiwas in Bilaspur area, some 30 km from Gurgaon, police said.
Two of the killed were identified as Chand, a resident of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, and Santdas, a resident of Shimla in Himachal Pradesh. The third victim was yet to be identified, Bilaspur police station chief Arjun Rathi told IANS.
Eight of the 40 bus passengers were injured, police said.
