Special needs village opens in Dubai

Dubai, April 6 (IANS/WAM) A heritage village for people with special needs has been launched in Dubai to build their capacities as productive partners in the society.

The village was launched by Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al Maktoum Charity Foundation.

The event is being organised in cooperation with the Sheikha Maitha bint Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum Centre for Special needs. It will continue till April 14 at the Latifa Hospital.
