London, April 12 (IANS) Music mogul Simon Cowell admits that he has never cast a vote during elections.
“I have never voted. I never have, that might surprise people, but I never have personally voted. I just couldn’t be bothered,” bangshowbiz.com quoted Cowell as saying.
However, the 53-year-old revealed his admiration for former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, who recently died.
“Baroness Thatcher definitely had talent. Look, you don’t get elected three times without having talent. She polarised people but sometimes that is what people with talent do. Some people like you, some people don’t but you can’t win over everyone. But as I said, she had talent,” he added.
Known as “Iron Lady”, Margaret Thatcher died at the age of 87 after suffering a stroke. Her funeral will be held here Wednesday.
