Shimla: Police recovered 4.910 Kg Charas in Dhalli, Shimla on Thursday. An FIR has been registered in this case under FIR No. 60/13 on 11 April 2013 at Dhalli Police Station.
Deput Supretendant of Police (P), Mr. Dinesh Kumar along with his staff during a patrolling/traffic check recovered Charas at Mashobra Road near HIPA Gate.
Three people from Theog were found to be in illegal possession of Charasl. The Investigation Officer in this case, Mr. Dinish Kumar said phone, “Interrogation is going on in this case; it seems that they were here to deliver the Charas to the buyer.”
Further, Dy. SP said that the police suspected these persons when they appeared nervous upon seeing the police patrol.
The 3 accused in the case have been identified as Pankaj Verma, Satya Nand and Govind. All 3 of them are from Tehsil Theog in District Shimla.
