Mumbai, April 7 (IANS) Filmmaker Prakash Jha, who is busy shooting his new political drama “Satyagraha” in Bhopal, has decided to shoot a video for youth, which will talk about equality, corruption, and injustice.
“Satyagraha” is set for an August 23 release and it features Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee and Amrita Rao.
The entire star cast of the film will feature in the video.
“‘Satyagraha’ as a film is for the youth that will show how the youth of the country stands up against injustice and corruption. Prakashji will ask all the cast members of ‘Satyagraha’ to record videos where each cast of them will ask the youth to stand up for their rights,” a source from the movie said.
“The video will have certain messages like right to information, right to equality, among others,” added the source.
It will be released online, August 12, which is the International Youth Day. But it won’t be used in the film or for promotional purpose.
