Agartala, April 6 (IANS) The Tripura government has ordered a magisterial probe into the assault on at least 11 scribes by junior doctors and medical students at medical college and hospital here, officials said Saturday.
“The decision for the magisterial inquiry was taken after Chief Minister Manik Sarkar had a meeting with his ministerial colleagues and senior officials Friday night,” an official told reporters.
Several media organisations have announced protest against the incident.
