London, April 10 (IANS) Singer Michael Buble says he will be a strict father.
The 37-year-old, who is awaiting the arrival of his first child with wife Luisana Lopilato, predicts that he will be an authoritative parent because the fact that his own parents were soft, made him a hard person.
“I didn’t have a strict upbringing, and I wish I did sometimes. I think my mum and dad loved me too much. I wasn’t spoilt, but my father’s mother and father were quite tough and my father grew up to be a very compassionate, soft-spoken gentleman,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted Buble as saying.
“My parents were very soft and loving with me and I turned out to be a little bit harder. I wish I was more like my father, but I’m not,” he added.
The “Haven’t met you yet” hitmaker said that he can have a bad temper and often got into fights as a child.
