Islamabad, April 16 (IANS) People rushed out of offices and homes as quake rocked Pakistan Tuesday afternoon.
Tremors were felt across several Pakistani cities, including Quetta, Pishin, Killa Abdullah, Chaghi, Sibi, Jaffarabad, Karachi, Hyderabad, Quetta, Badin, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi, reported Dawn.
Several part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, including Peshawar and Dera Ismail Khan, and the Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA), were also jolted.
An earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale jolted Iran-Pakistan border region Tuesday, the US Geological Survey said.
