Mumbai, April 5 (IANS) Watch out for actor Jaideep Ahlawat, the “surprise package” in action film “Commando”, says the movie’s director Dilip Ghosh.
Jaideep plays the role of a villain named AK 74 in “Commando”, releasing April 12.
“He (Jaideep) is brilliant. I don’t talk about him for one reason. He is a surprise package of my film,” Ghosh said here in an interview.
“Commando” features Vidyut Jamwal and former Miss India Pooja Chopra in the lead roles.
Jaideep and Ghosh have something in common – they are both alumni of the Film and Television Institute of India. But “Commando” has brought them together for the first time.
Praising the actor, Ghosh said: “He (Jaideep) is talented. We are from film institute. He is much junior to me, but he is a qualified and trained actor. I like his persona and he is very talented.
“The kind of get up and the thing (the work he has done in the film), I really don’t want to reveal to you, you see the film. He will give you such a shock and surprise that you will be amazed.”
“Commando” is produced by Vipul Shah.
