Tehran, April 16 (IANS) Iran’s national football team will face Oman in a friendly match May 22 in Muscat.
Iran coach Carlos Queiroz had already asked the Iranian football officials to set up two friendlies against Oman and Iraq to gear up for the 2014 World Cup qualifying match against Qatar June 4, reports Xinhua.
Iran is third with seven points in Group A of 2014 World Cup qualifier. Uzbekistan lead the group with 11 points, followed by South Korea with 10 points.
