Bujumbura (Burundi), April 13 (IANS) International Judo Federation ( IJF) president Marius Vizer will arrive in Burundi Sunday for a two-day visit and is expected to watch a demonstration between judokas from Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo).
Vizer will go to Kinama in the Burundian capital Bujumbura where he will visit a library at Holy Family Secondary School and then will visit a federal dojo located near the Prince Louis Rwagasore Stadium in the Bujumbura city centre where he will also watch some demonstrations, reports Xinhua.
“After his arrival Sunday, the International Judo Federation President will visit the Youth Centre of Gatumba near the border with the DR Congo and will watch a demonstration between Burundian judokas and judokas from Luvungi and Bukavu in eastern DR Congo,” Burundian Judo Federation president Valery Manirakiza said in the press release.
