New Delhi, April 8 (IANS) Imran Khan and Anushka Sharma have replaced Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra to endorse coffee brand Bru. The “Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola” co-stars admit they enjoyed each other’s company while shooting for the new commercial for it.
Anushka says coffee keeps her energy levels high, while for Imran, coffee often becomes a reason to bond with his friends. For now, the two actors are happy that they got to share each other’s company once again after “Matru…”.
“A good cup of coffee is what keeps me going through the day, keeps me active and energised. I like it hot, I like it cold, I like it in every sense of the word. When Bru approached me for this campaign I was happy to come on board. Also, I got to work once again with Imran who is a fabulous co-star. It’s a perfect combination for me,” Anushka said in a statement.
Imran said: “Anushka is always extremely energetic and an absolute pleasure to work with. Till date I invite all my friends over for coffee, where we chat and catch up on the latest events. Now that I’ve associated with Bru, I have even more reason to call them over more often.”
The duo will be part of the brand’s campaigns throughout 2013.
“Imran and Anushka have a good connect with the audience and their onscreen chemistry has been appreciated immensely. They endorse the core values that Bru stands for,” said Pragya Sharma, senior marketing manager, Bru.
