New Delhi, April 17 (IANS) It was a hot and clear day in the capital Wednesday with the maximum temperature settling a notch above average at 37.1 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast similar weather conditions Thursday.
“The skies will be clear through the day tomorrow (Thursday),” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 38 and 21 degrees Celsius, respectively, Thursday, the IMD official added.
The minimum temperature Wednesday settled at 21.9 degrees Celsius, a notch above average. The day’s maximum humidity was recorded at 47 percent.
The maximum temperature Tuesday was four notches above average at 40.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was a notch below average at 20.8 degrees Celsius.
