New Delhi, April 2 (IANS) A new Haj Committee will be constituted soon, External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid said Tuesday.

The government is in the process of issuing a notification in this regard, the minister told the media.

The government has received nominations from the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha secretariat.

The State Haj committees have also submitted names of nominees for the Central Haj Committee, which has been headless for some months.
