Ghaziabad, April 3 (IANS) Steel traders in Ghaziabad Wednesday downed shutters to protest a Rs.9.8 lakh robbery the previous day in which a businessman was the victim, a leader claimed.
Steel trader Ramesh Goel was robbed by four assailants in Raj Nagar, police said.
The shutdown was near total, said trader leader Shiv Shankar Rathi.
Senior Superintendent of Police Nitin Tiwari said six teams of police officers have been constituted to solve the robbery.
