Los Angeles, April 13 (IANS) Pop star Lady Gaga, who recently underwent a hip surgery, is helping a fan who needs to have a similar operation.
The 27-year-old, who underwent emergency surgery for a labral tear in her right hip last month, is funding a fan’s trip to meet the same team of surgeons, doctors and specialists who helped her in New York, reports contactmusic.com.
One of her Twitter followers, Emma C, 19, suffers from scoliosis and hip dysplasia. Emma revealed the news online.
“Gaga reached out to me and is hooking me up with her team that did her surgery in NYC as I have been needing a hip replacement for quite some time,” she wrote.
“We’re planning on flying out this weekend, all expenses paid, for a consult. The gesture is absolutely incredible…I broke down sobbing. Words can’t describe how incredibly blessed I am,” she further posted.
